“James and his Uptown Band performed at our Masonic Ladies’ Festival, held at the Crowne Plaza in Stratford-upon-Avon on 22nd March .
They were outstanding—filling the dance floor and getting everyone singing along. James was a fantastic entertainer, combining great vocals with energetic dancing and a brilliant sense of humour. The band members were highly skilled musicians, and the entire group conducted themselves with true professionalism.
With over 100 guests in attendance, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Many of our Masonic members, some of whom have been attending these events for more than 50 years, said this was the best Ladies’ Festival they had ever experienced—largely thanks to the band.
They are a genuinely lovely group of men. We would highly recommend them and would be delighted to welcome them back for future events. Thank you for making our night so spectacular”. Love Beverley Piggott.
“I organised our Christmas party at the hotel, we had a fab time, the Band was brilliant, entertainment was so varied, everyone was congratulating me on what a great night, we will be back. Thank you and well done”. Stoke Moat House.

“We saw The Uptown Band at Cricket St Thomas in Somerset yesterday. We love top quality tribute acts and I have to say The Uptown Band have everything you could possibly want. Energy, Mimicry, Song Choice with a lead singer who absolutely owns the stage and has an audience with him right from the word go. An incredible act, the likes of which I thought was impossible to perform. This act demands Saturday night billing.
Thank you guys you were sensational”. Phil Smith.
“Hey Bill We just wanted to pass on the feedback, received from Gunton Hall; Great variety of songs constant floor fillers. Act went down extremely well with all the guests.
